Mentoring Program
 

In addition to our week-long Summer CAMP, we are pleased to offer the C.A.M.P. Mentoring Program for the second year for 8th through 12th-grade students interested in continuing to explore the architecture profession in a smaller group setting.  The program will run through Fall & Winter.

During our '23-'24 Mentoring program students will:

• ATTEND up to 7 sessions

• Upcoming dates:

  • Sept 16, 2023 - Intro to Architecture + Sketching @ UC DAAP

  • Sept 30, 2023 - “Design for Playfulness” - @ TRA with Tony Ravagnani

  • Oct 14, 2023 - “Cross-Disciplinary Design Collaborations”:- role play exercise - @ MSP
    with Zoe Gizara, David Clark

  • Oct 28, 2023 - To Be Determined

  • Jan 13, 2024 - “Design to Preserve: Price Hill / Community Identity”: Field Trip in
    Price Hill with Beth Johnson (CPA) and Deanna Heil (City Studios Architecture)

  • Feb 17, 2024 - To Be Determined

  • Mar 9, 2024 - “Design to imagine: Virtual Reality” @ Hub+Weber with Jim Guthrie

• All times are 10:00 am to Noon. The first session will be held at the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP). The following sessions will be held at several architectural firms within Cincinnati. 

• ENGAGE with mentors who are professional architects and architecture students

• PARTICIPATE in hands-on projects and exploration

TUITION: $100 (need-based scholarships are available)

APPLICATION: The application deadline is 09/08/23. There are 7 sessions planned for the ’23-’24 mentoring program year.   Students will be notified by September 11th of acceptance into the program
