Mentoring Program
 

In addition to our week-long Summer CAMP, we are pleased to offer the C.A.M.P. Mentoring Program for the second year for 8th through 12th-grade students interested in continuing to explore the architecture profession in a smaller group setting.  The program will run through Fall & Winter.

During our '24-'25 Mentoring program students will:

• ATTEND up to 7 sessions

  • Sept 14, 2024 - Intro to Architecture + Sketching @ UC DAAP (Meeting location 342 Clifton Ct, Cincinnati, OH 45221)

  • Sept 28, 2024 - “Design for Playfulness” - @ TRA Design with Tony Ravagnani (Meeting location 2315 Florence Ave, Cincinnati OH 45206)

  • Oct 12, 2024 - “Cross-Disciplinary Design Collaborations”- role play exercise - @ MSP
    with Zoe Gizara, David Clark  (Meeting location 3700 Park 42 Dr #190b, Cincinnati, OH 45241)

  • Oct 26, 2024 - “Design to imagine: Virtual Reality” @ Hub+Weber with Jim Guthrie (Meeting location 720 E Pete Rose Way UNIT 310, Cincinnati, OH 45202)

  • Jan 11, 2025 - To Be Determined

  • Feb 8, 2025 - To Be Determined

  • Mar 15, 2025 - To Be Determined

• All times are 10:00 am to Noon. 

• The first session will be held at The University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning. All subsequent sessions will be held at various architectural firms within Greater Cincinnati.  

• ENGAGE with mentors who are professional architects and architecture students

• PARTICIPATE in hands-on projects and exploration

TUITION: $100 (need-based scholarships are available)

APPLICATION: The application deadline is 09/08/24. There are 7 sessions planned for the ’24-’25 mentoring program year.   Students will be notified by September 11th of acceptance into the program
